Revenue Campaigns
Grow revenue with the templates tagged Revenue, from prequalifying new leads to winning back members who cancel.
Revenue campaigns are the ones that put money on the table: new business, coverage you'd otherwise lose, and conversations that turn into a sale. Where retention campaigns keep members happy and in touch, revenue campaigns go after a specific result and get the member to a licensed agent.
In careCycle, "Revenue" is a tag. Templates come tagged Retention, Revenue, or Receptionist, and you can add your own tags to any campaign.
The Revenue templates
| Template | What it does | How people get in |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-Qualification (Medicare) | Calls people who asked for a Medicare review, screens them, and transfers them to a licensed agent | You add them |
| MA Win-Backs (Medicare) | Calls members whose policy moves to Future Cancel more than 30 days after it started, and gets them to your team | Automatically, within seconds of the status change |
| Approval Calls (ACA) | Tells newly approved members the good news and what happens next | 7 days after enrollment |
| Payment Errors (ACA) | Reaches members whose monthly payment didn't go through, so they can fix it before their coverage is affected | You add them |
A few notes:
- Win-Backs has a twin. Rapid Disenrollment Save catches policies that cancel in their first 30 days, and Win-Backs catches the ones that cancel after that. Turn on both and nobody slips through. See Save Cancelling Members.
- ACA Approval Calls doesn't have a cadence yet. It comes with the AI employees and scripts but no Pulse, so you'll need to build one before you turn it on. The brief has the details.
- There's a Medicare Payment Errors too, tagged Retention. See Payment Errors (Medicare).

Creating a Revenue Campaign
Pick your templates
Go to Campaigns, click New Campaign, enter a name, and choose Voice AI > Create from template. Pick Medicare or ACA across the top, then click the Revenue tag chip to narrow the list.
Preview before you pick
Click a card to see its description, an Example conversation, Automations created with this campaign (if it has one), and Required customer data. Customers missing those fields won't be enrolled.
Create it
Select the template and create the campaign. It opens as a Draft campaign in the workspace. Repeat for the other templates you want to run.
Set up escalations
Open Configuration > Scenarios & escalations. Point Transfer Call at a routing group and Book Appointment at a calendar. The campaign won't activate until every one of those rows points somewhere.
Review, test, and activate
Check the cadence in the Configuration > Outreach section, test the campaign, and click Activate on the Overview tab. For templates with no automation, add your people. See Add Customers to a Campaign.
The full walkthrough is in Create a Campaign from a Template.
Which number it calls from
Choose Main number or Number pool in Configuration > Calling numbers. The main number is the one members already know. A pool of local numbers spreads high-volume calling out and helps protect your answer rates. Apply the selection with the Configuration header's Save. See Managing Your Phone Numbers.
Finding your revenue campaigns
On the Campaigns list, open the All tags dropdown and pick Revenue to see just those. You can add or change tags on any campaign with Add tag on its card.
